We recently invited anyone under age 16 to create a picture inspired by our bat. We’ve chosen our winner and it’s Alfie B, aged 7.
Alfie’s bat is looking to read some rather interesting fairy tales… While we recognise Jack and the Beanstalk, his other two books are less familiar. We wonder what happens in Jim and the Beanstalk (is Jim Jack’s brother?) and what’s the significance of the “hiding” hood in Red Hiding Hood. We look forward to catching up with Alfie to find out more when we present his prize at our Celebration on Friday 17 November.
