We’re delighted to announce that this year’s Bircham Centre and Reepham Archive presentation is all about beer! The topic is “Brewing and Pubs in Reepham” and explores everything from malting the barley to serving at the bar. You will discover the history of brewing in the town: did you know that Reepham’s brewery was a major player locally and owned around 50 pubs around Norfolk in the 1800s? We’ll then take a look at the 14 drinking establishments in Reepham, Hackford and Whitwell – hear fascinating stories about the buildings, owners and licencees.
