The recent presentation given by Trustee Carl Lamb about his experiences of participating in the Sidney Hobart Race was a great success and raised valuable money for the Centre. We are so grateful to Carl for giving his time.
This was something of a swansong for Carl who has just come to the end of his six years as a Trustee. After the presentation, our Chair of Trustees Tina Pashley presented him with a bottle of Champagne as a thank-you.
She later said “It was a sad moment to have to say farewell to Carl as a trustee, after his 6 year tenure. It included many hours of zoom meetings, which I’m sure he won’t miss, but we are going to miss him. It was good to be able to thank him for his dedication and support over all those years and in thanking us for his bottle of Bollinger, he reiterated that he’ll still be on hand to help if we need him. Thank you, Carl!”
