Fixers: We need you!
Do you like to fix or refurbish things? Keen to keep stuff out of landfill? Have skills you can pass on? Want to learn new skills and meet people? Then The Fixery needs you.
Come to an informal meeting at 2:30 pm on Tuesday 10 October in the Bircham Centre garden. We’ll have some refreshments, help take down a gazebo or two, and discuss how to get The Fixery up and running. It won’t take long, and there’s no commitment.
By the winter the plan is to have a regular repair café where people can meet to fix broken items – from pictures and lampshades to vacuum cleaners and bikes. It will be a place to talk, watch, learn, and pass on experience.
