We've Raised the Roof at the Bircham Centre!

The very good news is that we have reached our £10,000 target in our Raise the Roof Campaign.

Thank you Reepham residents, organisations, businesses and visitors for your amazing support.

The money raised will go towards match-funding the £20,000 grant from Broadland District Council’s Pride in Place scheme.  We have a major donation and some other grant funding to help us with the second half of the match funding.

We have a bat!

Our bat survey showed us we have one little bat who visits us from time to time. However, the bat survey cost us an additional £2,000, so we’re continuing our fundraising to help cover this cost.

We’ve named our bat “Atticus” – a suggestion from Reepham resident and Bircham Centre volunteer, Judith Sweetman.

How I can help?

If you can help us raise the remaining funds we need for the bat survey, please donate via our JustGiving page at https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/raisethebirchamcentreroof, or drop a cheque or cash, into  Charity Shop when that is open, or into the secure postbox in the front door.

Thank you for your support

We are proud of this wonderful historic building, which was donated to the people of Reepham in 1919 by Samuel Bircham.  We rely on donations and fundraising for most of the maintenance needed – we’re so grateful for the generosity of everyone in and around Reepham, and we couldn’t survive without your support.  Thank you!
